A Community of Connection

A Community of Connection

At Point Hope, each path invites discovery—taking you from shaded trails to local favorites to the spontaneous connections with neighbors that make this place feel like home.

Every Path Leads to
New Possibilities

Pop out for a breath of fresh air at a park. Hop on your bike to meet friends just around the bend. Get your Sunday reset out on the trails or fill your weekend with fun on the Village Green. Wander a little, linger a lot, and let the outdoors lead the way. And when you’re ready for a bite or a familiar favorite, you’ll find that just off the trail too.

Thoughtful
Amenities

Built in harmony with its surroundings, Point Hope lets the landscape lead, guiding you toward parks, trails, and spontaneous moments of exploration in the great outdoors.

Trails

Our trails-first vision means pathways come before streets, following historic logging roads and natural corridors to shape the community. The result is a miles-long network that connects shops, schools, parks, and other destinations, presenting a variety of interactive experiences along the way. Whether you’re on a paved bike path, a nature walk, or pausing to explore something new, there’s always something to discover on Point Hope’s trails.

Parks

Point Hope’s parks are woven into everyday life, offering spaces to gather, play, and simply enjoy the outdoors. From innovative playgrounds and dog-friendly greens to open lawns for community gatherings, each park is designed with its own character and purpose. Together, they create a patchwork of destinations where neighbors meet, families linger, and the Lowcountry landscape provides the backdrop for moments both big and small.

First Light Park & Playground

Anchoring Point Hope’s first neighborhood is the community’s first park, an expansive area that incorporates innovative play equipment for all ages, an open playing field and areas for sitting and socializing. It’s an easy walk from the homes in First Light, and a popular gathering place for all Point Hope residents.

Peggy’s Park

Point Hope’s first dog park is named after Peggy Guggenheim, an avid dog lover and well-known member of the Guggenheim family. Peggy’s Park includes a large open area, a separate section for smaller dogs, a “stick library” and seating areas for owners. As the community grows, dog parks of varying sizes will be added to accommodate our community’s four-legged friends.

Village Green

At the center of our community is the Village Green, an urban-style park surrounded by shops and restaurants that serves as a venue for a growing array of events and activities. From yoga classes to outdoor movies, markets and Point Hope’s signature “Gathering on the Green” live music series, the Village Green is where residents connect.
