A Community of Connection
Every Path Leads to
New Possibilities
Pop out for a breath of fresh air at a park. Hop on your bike to meet friends just around the bend. Get your Sunday reset out on the trails or fill your weekend with fun on the Village Green. Wander a little, linger a lot, and let the outdoors lead the way. And when you’re ready for a bite or a familiar favorite, you’ll find that just off the trail too.
Thoughtful Amenities
Built in harmony with its surroundings, Point Hope lets the landscape lead, guiding you toward parks, trails, and spontaneous moments of exploration in the great outdoors.
Trails
Our trails-first vision means pathways come before streets, following historic logging roads and natural corridors to shape the community. The result is a miles-long network that connects shops, schools, parks, and other destinations, presenting a variety of interactive experiences along the way. Whether you’re on a paved bike path, a nature walk, or pausing to explore something new, there’s always something to discover on Point Hope’s trails.
Parks
Point Hope’s parks are woven into everyday life, offering spaces to gather, play, and simply enjoy the outdoors. From innovative playgrounds and dog-friendly greens to open lawns for community gatherings, each park is designed with its own character and purpose. Together, they create a patchwork of destinations where neighbors meet, families linger, and the Lowcountry landscape provides the backdrop for moments both big and small.
First Light Park & Playground
Anchoring Point Hope’s first neighborhood is the community’s first park, an expansive area that incorporates innovative play equipment for all ages, an open playing field and areas for sitting and socializing. It’s an easy walk from the homes in First Light, and a popular gathering place for all Point Hope residents.
Peggy’s Park
Point Hope’s first dog park is named after Peggy Guggenheim, an avid dog lover and well-known member of the Guggenheim family. Peggy’s Park includes a large open area, a separate section for smaller dogs, a “stick library” and seating areas for owners. As the community grows, dog parks of varying sizes will be added to accommodate our community’s four-legged friends.
Village Green
At the center of our community is the Village Green, an urban-style park surrounded by shops and restaurants that serves as a venue for a growing array of events and activities. From yoga classes to outdoor movies, markets and Point Hope’s signature “Gathering on the Green” live music series, the Village Green is where residents connect.
Coming Soon
We’re just getting started! As Point Hope grows, trails, parks and other amenities will be added, contributing to the opportunities for recreation, fitness and relaxation for residents and visitors. From sports amenities and new parks of all kinds, to the gradual expansion of the trail network, you can always check back here to learn about the latest amenities in the works for Point Hope.
Doolittle Park
Point Hope’s swim, racquet sports and recreational destination is nearing completion. Doolittle Park will be Point Hope’s signature amenity, a resident-only destination where you can do as much – or as little – as you desire. Complete with two swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, and spaces for events, activities and relaxation, Doolittle Park is sure to become a popular destination for homeowners when it opens in 2026.
Sanders House
Located within the Hopewell neighborhood, this 19th century farmhouse has been refurbished as community resource with space for small events and gatherings. The property’s beautifully landscaped grounds include a community garden with raised beds that will be available to property owners for lease. The Sanders House will open in early 2026.
Spiral Ramp Park
Spiral Ramp Park will be the newest addition to the First Light neighborhood. This focal park will provide a recreational interlude in the midst of this growing neighborhood. Featuring our “take” on traditional swings and see-saws, a hill for climbing and benches for quiet moments and meeting friends, Spiral Ramp Park, named for the Guggenheim Museum’s famous architectural feature, promises to be a favorite spot.
The Waterline
Over the next several years, an expansive linear water- and trail-oriented park that parallels Clements Ferry Road will take shape as one of Point Hope’s most prominent amenities and a regional destination. The Waterline is defined by a series of inter-connected ponds and a five-mile trail loop, offering opportunities for fitness and access to the shops, restaurants, services and residential opportunities located adjacent to the park.
