As one of the fastest-growing master-planned communities in the Charleston region, Point Hope continues to welcome new dining, wellness and retail destinations that enhance everyday life for residents and visitors alike. Several exciting new businesses are opening throughout the community in 2026, further expanding the mix of convenience and experiences available within Point Hope.
One of the newest additions includes Ye Old Fashioned Ice Cream & Sandwich Cafe, a long-time beloved local favorite. Philosophia, a highly anticipated Greek-inspired restaurant, is expected to become a favorite eatery within the community. Later this summer, Hachiya Ramen is planned to open at Goddard, Point Hope’s centrally located apartment and retail destination, bringing even more variety to the area’s growing dining scene.
Healthcare and wellness offerings are also continuing to grow within Point Hope. ATI Physical Therapy is now officially open at Goddard, while Bon Secours Primary Care is expected to open later this year in The Gates. In addition, the new Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Clements Ferry Health Pavilion is now open and serving patients with more than a dozen healthcare services, including primary care, imaging, occupational therapy and specialty services.
Additional everyday conveniences are also on the way. A UPS Store and Penny’s Pawlour & Pet Boutique are both expected to open later this year, continuing Point Hope’s vision of creating a connected, walkable community where residents (and four-legged friends!) can live, work and play close to home.
