We’ve reached a significant milestone at Point Hope! Doolittle Park, the community’s signature sports park amenity, is now open exclusively for residents, offering a vibrant new destination designed to bring neighbors together for recreation and relaxation within a beautiful Lowcountry setting.
Thoughtfully created to support Point Hope’s active, outdoor lifestyle, Doolittle Park features both a Jr. Olympic-sized pool and a resort-style pool, six pickleball courts, two tennis courts, two basketball half-courts, a covered open-air pavilion and welcoming gathering spaces for residents of all ages. Whether starting the day with a pickleball match, spending an afternoon poolside with family or winding down the day with friends at the pavilion, the park offers countless recreational opportunities for residents to enjoy.
Doolittle Park is reflective of the Point Hope team’s continued commitment to creating spaces that foster connection, wellness and a sense of belonging. This exceptional $15 million facility was made possible by the contributions of dedicated partners, including SMHa , which guided the thoughtful architectural designs; contractor Hill Construction, graphic artist Gil Shuler, who designed the mural on the pavilion that beautifully reflects the history and spirit of Point Hope; and LINGEO Sign , which brought the mural to life. With their help, Doolittle Park has emerged as a place that residents at Point Hope will enjoy for generations to come.
