New Outdoor Destinations Opening At Point Hope!

It’s been scientifically proven that time spent in nature is essential for health and wellness. That’s why Point Hope has been thoughtfully designed to connect people with nature at every turn. Our miles-long trail network weaves through neighborhoods, linking residents to parks, green spaces and unique spots to pause and enjoy the surroundings. Along the way, you’ll find activation nodes offering everything from interactive play equipment to quiet spaces for some “me time.” And we’re just getting started! Two exciting new outdoor destinations in the First Light area of Point Hope are adding even more opportunities for recreation, exploring and connecting with nature.

“The Hillocks”: Now Open

Located within the First Light neighborhood, The Hillocks is a trail destination designed for discovery and play. This vibrant space features large-scale interactive musical play equipment, inviting children and adults alike to create their own outdoor symphonies. Whether you’re walking the kids to school or enjoying some alone time on an afternoon bike ride, it’s the perfect spot to pause and reflect. Best of all, it’s open to the public, so everyone can enjoy. 

“Spiral Ramp Park”: Coming Soon

Residents looking for additional play equipment for their kids are eagerly awaiting the opening of Spiral Ramp Park in First Light. Spanning 28,000 square feet, this expansive park will feature classic favorites like swings, seesaws and all-inclusive play equipment. The park is designed as a gathering space where all ages can spend hours enjoying fresh air and fun. Construction is underway now, with completion estimated for late 2025.
